STRANGER THINGS 4 Trailer Teases The Creepy Creel House
Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for Stranger Things 4 and it offers us our first look at creepy new location being introduced this next season… the Creel house. This is the home of a new character named Victor Creel, played by Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street). Creel has been imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital since his family was violently murdered in the 1950s, which Creel blamed on a vengeful demon. As you might expect, no one believed him.
What does this mean? It means that the creatures in the Upside Down have been terrorizing Hawkins for far longer than anyone realized. This next season is sure to be absolutely crazy and so much damn fun! I can’t wait to see how the characters story arcs continue to play out over the course of the series.
When previously talking about Stranger Things 4, David Harbour said it’s his favorite batch of episodes yet:
"[Season 4] is really my favorite season. I just love it. The scripts always get better and these guys, they started out, and Season One is so tight and good and intimate in a certain way, it’s so good. And these guys go in different directions, of which the fans have multiple takes on, but I will say, the writing continues to be of its particular, specific genre, whatever they’re doing each season is just extraordinary. And this, again, we top it. Like I feel it’s a big, beautiful season. I can’t wait for people to see it."
Producer Shawn Levy also teased that Season 4 is more epic and cinematic, saying, “It’s epic storytelling. It’s still rooted in character, but the scope of the storytelling is more epic and cinematic than we’ve ever attempted before.”
The series stars Millie Bobbie Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, and they will be joined by newcomers Robert Englund, Jamie Campbell Bower, Joseph Quinn, Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, and Nikola Djuricko.
Stranger Things Season 4 is set to release on Netflix sometime in 2022.
