New STUNTMEN REACT Episode Discusses HARD TARGET, RUROUNI KENSHIN: KYOTO INFERNO, POLICE STORY, and More
The gang at Corridor Crew have released another episode of Stuntmen React. In it, they bring back Gui DaSilva to talk about films such as Hard Target, Police Story, Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, Project Power, Odd Couple, Knockabout, and The Rundown.
There’s a lot of great stuff here to learn, but one of the more interesting aspects pointing out is that Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno is the film that changed how Hollywood interpreted samurai or katana sword fighting scenes. It set a new trend and “now everyone wanted to perform in this temp rhythm and movement.” This movie was a pure example of that. We’ve seen this kind of action in the types of films such as Deadpool and John Wick.
