New SUPERGIRL Test Screenings Reveal Beefed Up Cameo and Modified Ending

We are just a few months away from DC’s next big screen adventure, Supergirl. Milly Alcock debuted the character in last summer’s Superman, and now we will see more of her story unfold.

While it was previously confirmed that David Corenswet would reprise the role of Supergirl’s cousin, Clark Kent, aka Superman, in the upcoming film, a new report indicates that we will see a bit more of him than previously expected.

According to insider @MyTimeToShineH, "More scenes with Superman were added to Supergirl. Now he also [FaceTimes] her and shows up at the end of the movie." This was backed up by @Cryptic4KQual, who has said that the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow adaptation "now has a slightly different ending."

Presumably, this cameo will set the stage for Brainiac's attack in Man of Tomorrow, a movie in which Milly Alcock is expected to reprise her role as Kara Zor-El.

Sources report that the main characters in the film- Supergirl, Superman, and Lobo (played by Jason Momoa), do well to carry the film in a big way. They are very strong and turn in great performances. It’s just the inclusion and writing for the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts), which falls flat.

Supergirl is slated for release on June 26th.
