New SUPERMAN TV Spots Featuring a Spoilery Plot Point and a Frustrating Moment With Krypto and the Robots

We are less than two weeks away from the release of James Gunn’s DC feature, Superman, and we are getting the final clips and TV spots to lure us in before the film drops. One of the TV trailers that is now airing, which you can check out below, is titled, “He’s forging a path to rule the Earth.”

The clip hints at Lex Luther’s smear campaign against Superman, featuring a “blink and you miss it” shot of a billboard that reads, "Superman Sent On Mission To Destroy Us."

Crowds of people are gathered to see it, and it causes an obvious stir. We will just have to wait and see how Supes handles this one.

Another new clip features Superman, who after returning to his Fortress of Solitude, is frustrated to see some destruction inflicted by his super pup, Krypto. When he asks his Superman robots why they didn’t look after his canine friend, Robot number 4 (voiced unmistakably by Alan Tudyk), gives him an unsatisfactory answer.

Check out both clips below, and get ready to watch Superman when it flies into theaters on July 11th.
