New Synopsis For STRANGER THINGS 3 and Themed Retro Nike Sneakers
While we wait for Stranger Things 3 to drop next month, we’ve got some more cool Stranger Things news to share with you to bring a little more joy in your life today.
Netflix has released a new synopsis for the third season of the monstrously awesome series and Nike has revealed a line of retro Stranger Things-themed sneakers and gear!
Before we get to the sneakers I’ll share the new synopsis of the series with you, which gives us a little more insight into what we can expect from the next chapter of the story.
It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.
Now on to the Nike sneakers and gear! They’ve created new editions of their classic Cortez, Blazer, and Tailwind shoes that carry the radical spirit of the 80s. They’ve got a line of Stranger Things gear inspired by the color scheme of Hawkins High School, green and orange.
Then there’s the “OG Pack” that celebrates Independence Day with the All-American red, white, and blue colors. As you know, this next chapter of the story is set during the Fourth of July.
There’s also hoodies, shirts, hats, and a sweat set, which are all inspired by the 1980s high school gym class style.
The Hawkins High School inspired shoes will be released on June 27th while the “OG Pack” style won’t arrive until July 1st.
