New Teaser and Release Date For SEX AND THE CITY Sequel AND JUST LIKE THAT

HBO has announced that their sequel to the hit series Sex and the City, titled And Just Like That, will premiere December 9th. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis return to show the trio of friends navigating life and friendship in their 50s in New York City. Other returning cast includes David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Mario Cantone, and the late Willie Garson, but not Kim Cattrall. Other notable appearances in the trailer include Sara Ramirez, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman, Julie Halston, and Sarita Choudhury. 

Fans of the show will also recognize the return of Bridget Moynahan, who played Mr. Big’s ex wife Natasha Naginsky, from the trailer. Given the age of the characters it should be interesting to see what kind of challenges they decide this character will present. 

I remember that this show was huge during its original run in 1998-2004, but being too young at the time to watch it I never got into the series. Did you watch the original Sex and the City? Are you excited for the sequel?
