New Teaser Trailer for AMC's BETTER CALL SAUL Season 5
Better Call Saul is easily one of the best shows on TV right now, and with the fifth season of the series set to premiere next month, we have a new teaser trailer to share with you. As you will see, it looks like things are going to get ugly, but the spot manages to still have a light a humorous upbeat vibe as Saul Goodman, a.k.a. Jimmy McGill, is directing a commercial for his law firm.
Series star Bob Odenkirk has previously said that things are really going to ramp up in Season 5, and he promises that it’s going to blow our minds and be “shattering in every direction.”
“It’s the best season we’ve ever done, it’s going to blow your mind, and I’m not kidding about either of those things. It’s fucking awesome. I can’t wait for people to see it. It’s just shattering in every direction, and I love it.”
I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this next chapter of the story! Season 4 ended with Jimmy McGill finally embracing his new identity as Saul Goodman, the shady lawyer that we were introduced to in Breaking Bad. Showrunner Peter Gould also talked about the series telling EW:
“It seems like Jimmy’s first move is to try to leverage all the contacts he has in the world of selling drop phones. But don’t forget, he also knows the vet, and the vet is sort of Craig’s List for the underworld in Albuquerque. So he can get quite far. The question is: how does he establish a reputation as not just a criminal lawyer but a criminal lawyer? And what does that mean to him at this point? Because situations may require him to do things and turn a blind eye to things that Jimmy McGill would not be able to stomach.”
This is one of those shows that constantly amazes me with how good it is, and it returns to AMC on February 23rd!
