New Teaser Trailer for the HALO Series and Photo of Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief

Later tonight, a full trailer is going to be released for the long awaited live-action Halo series. While we wait for that, we have a teaser trailer for you to watch teases some cool footage. We also have a photo from EW to share with you featuring Pablo Schreiber suited up as Master Chief.

Master Chief is described as “Earth’s most advanced warrior in the 26th century and the only hope of salvation for a civilization pushed to the brink of destruction by the Covenant, an unstoppable alliance of alien worlds committed to the destruction of humanity.”

When talking about taking on the role, Schreiber calls it "a herculean task. It's a huge job, from setting the tone on set down to the grueling task of waking up at the crack of dawn to work out, then go to shoot, and go home to work out some more. Nothing about it is easy, and I wouldn't want it to be."

Schreiber went onto to talk about the story saying, "It takes place very much in the universe that the video games created, but it's a it's a TV show. We get to expand that universe and create stories in it. There's going to be some new characters that are introduced, there's going to be a lot of familiar characters that everyone will know from the game."

This series is said to respect the Halo canon and everything in the games, comics, novels, and previously made series was taken into account when developing this story.

The Halo series “delivers the visceral excitement of playing the game, along with a much deeper emotional experience around the Spartans, human beings who got their humanity chemically and genetically altered. The story is about reclaiming what makes them human, and therefore it’s a very powerful story.”

The 10-episode Steven Spielberg-produced series is set to premiere on Paramount+ in 2022.
