New Teaser Trailer Released For The Upcoming DC Series KRYPTON
The SyFy Channel has released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming Superman-inspired series Krypton. I've actually been looking forward to this series as I've been impressed by everything I've seen so far, which hasn't been much. This is actually the first promo that we've seen since the Comic-Con trailer was released.
Krypton is set 200 years before the events of Man of Steel and it will follow Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El, who is played by Cameron Cuffe. It's said to take place in a time when "the House of El was shamed and ostracized and Seg-El is looking to bring hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known."
The series also stars Georgina Campbell (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) as Lyta Zod, who is part of Krypton’s military caste and daughter of General Alura Zod. There's this whole other plotline where Seg-El and Lyta Zod are in the midst of a secret, forbidden relationship.
The series is set to be released sometime in 2018.
