New Tenth Anniversary Trailer For Leonardo DiCaprio's THE REVENANT in Celebration of Its Re-Release
A tenth anniversary trailer has been released for the three-time Academy Award winning survival epic, The Revenant. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio in the role that won him an Oscar, along with Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson, and Will Poulter.
The Revenant is directed and co-written by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, who won the Oscar as well, from a screenplay he wrote with Mark L. Smith, based on a novel by Michael Punke.
the synopsis reads: “Inspired by true events, The Revenant is an immersive & visceral cinematic experience capturing one man’s epic adventure of survival and the extraordinary power of the human spirit.
“In an expedition of the uncharted American wilderness, legendary explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.
“In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a vicious winter in a relentless pursuit to live and find redemption.”
The Revenant first opened in theaters December 2015. 20th Century will re-release The Revenant in theaters again on February 26th & March 1st, 2026 only in IMAX.
