The Rising of the Shield Hero is the story of Naofumi Iwatani as he is transported to a fantasy game-like world of monsters and magic. Taking on the mantle of Shield Hero, he takes on the role of one of the four prophesied heroes that will be transported to this world. Fans of the show are eagerly awaiting the season 2 finale that will air on June 29 on Crunchyroll. You can get a short recap of the show thus far in a new trailer released by Crunchyroll that celebrates the first two seasons of the show.
