New 'This World' Trailer for WONDER WOMAN 1984 and First Screening Reactions Hit Social Media

With Wonder Woman 1984 being released later this month, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the film to help keep the excitement alive for the fans. The new trailer offers up a few bits of new footage, but nothing really mind-blowing. You can check that new trailer out here and below that you’ll find some of the first reactions to the film that have hit social media:

The film also recently screened for select press, and some of those reactions have been shared online. For the most part, people seemed to have enjoyed the movie! I’ve had my doubts about this sequel, but I really do hope the film is as good as what I’m hearing! Check out some of the reactions below:

The story for the sequel picks up with Diana Prince as she’s working at the Natural History Museum in Washington, D.C. in the 80s, and she’s been living a quiet, lonely life since the events of the first movie. But she’s still just trying to help the people who need it.

The synopsis reads:

In 1984, during the Cold War, Diana comes into conflict with two formidable foes—media businessman Maxwell Lord and friend-turned-enemy Barbara Minerva / Cheetah, while reuniting with her love interest Steve Trevor.

The movie was directed by Patty Jenkins, and it also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Kristen Wiig as The Cheetah, Pedro Pascal as Max Lord, Robin Wright as Antiope, and Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta.

The DC film will be released both in theaters and on HBO Max on December 25th, 2020.
