New THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER TV Spot Features New Dialogue From Christian Bale's Villainous Gorr the God Butcher
A new Thor: Love and Thunder TV spot has been released that features a bit of new dialogue from Christian Bale’s villainous character, Gorr the God Butcher. He is joined in the clip by Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who look like they are ready to take on the big bad villain.
Marvel Studios' synopsis for Love and Thunder reads:
"The film finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who – to Thor's surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance and stop him before it's too late."
The film was directed by Taika Waititi, who revived the Thor storyline with Thor: Ragnarok. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on July 8th, 2022. Just a month away, I can’t wait! Check out the clip below:
