New Trailer and Clip For Richard Linklater’s EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!!

I’ve enjoyed the films that director Richard Linklater has made of the years, but one of my favorites is easily Dazed and Confused. So I’m very excited about his next film Everybody Wants Some!! because it is described as being a “spiritual sequel” to Dazed and Confused.

The story is set in the world of 1980 college life, and it’s “a comedy that follows a group of friends as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood.” It comes along with the tagline, “Get ready for the best weekend ever.”

A new trailer and clip have been released for the film, which looks great! Not only does it look good, but it’s been getting a ton of positive buzz and currently hold a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It looks to me like Linklater has made another classic.

The movie stars Blake Jenner, Glen Powell, Wyatt Russell, Ryan Guzman, Quinton Johnson, Austin Amelio, Forrest Vickery, Temple Baker, Tanner Kalina, Juston Street and Zoey Deutch. The film currently has a limited theatrical release but it will get a wide release on April 15th.
