Trailer for Disney's African Animated Sci-Fi Anthology Series KIZAZI MOTO: GENERATION FIRE

A new trailer and poster have been released from the Disney+ African animated series, Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire. It’s a 10-part animated sci-fi anthology series of short films from leading African directors hailing from Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.

The 10 films are: “Stardust” (Ahmed Teilab, Egypt), “Mkhuzi: The Spirit Racer” (Simangaliso “Panda” Sibaya and Malcolm Wopé, South Africa), “Hatima” (Terence Maluleke and Isaac Mogajane, South Africa), “Enkai” (Ng’endo Mukii, Kenya), “Moremi” (Shofela Coker, Nigeria), “Surf Sangoma” (Nthato Mokgata and Catherine Green, South Africa), “Mukudzei” (Pious Nyenyewa and Tafadzwa Hove, Zimbabwe), “First Totem Problems” (Tshepo Moche, South Africa), “Herderboy” (Raymond Malinga, Uganda) and “You Give Me Heart” (Lesego Vorster, South Africa).

This looks like a cool new film series unlike any projects we’ve seen before. Check out the trailer and poster below, and watch Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire when it debuts globally on July 5th, 2023, exclusively on Disney+.
