New Trailer For AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH Teases a Visually Stunning and Emotionally Intense Return to Pandora
The journey back to Pandora is heating up. A new trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash has been released, and it’s giving fans an exciting look at what’s next for Jake Sully and his family.
In the aftermath of Neteyam’s heartbreaking death, Jake and Neytiri, played once again by Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña, find themselves in mourning while also navigating the dangers of an unfamiliar Na’vi tribe known as the Ash People.
This new tribe, led by the fierce Varang (Oona Chaplin), isn’t just different in culture, they’ve allied themselves with the returning human villain, Colonel Miles Quaritch, played by Stephen Lang.
The synopsis reads: "With Avatar: Fire and Ash, James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Saldaña), and the Sully family,” reads the official synopsis.
The trailer gives us a sweeping look at new corners of Pandora and teases escalating tensions that will test the Sully family like never before. As Jake and Neytiri confront the Ash People and their unexpected allegiance with Quaritch, the stakes reach dangerous new heights.
The screenplay was written by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, and the story is credited to Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno.
The returning cast includes Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, Cliff Curtis as Tonowari, Britain Dalton as Lo’ak, Trinity Bliss as Tuktirey, Jack Champion as Miles “Spider” Socorro, Bailey Bass as Tsireya, and Kate Winslet as Ronal.
Talking about the new film, Cameron teased what fans can expect: “You’ll see a lot more Pandora that you never saw before. It’s an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it’s also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before. We’re going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love.”
