New Trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD Sees Sam Wilson Fighting to Prevent War
Marvel Studios released another trailer for Captain America: Brave New World, and it features some new action-packed footage of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson making an effort to prevent a massive war. This all leads to Sam facing off with Harrison Ford’s Red Hulk
Sam Wilson officially took on the mantle of Captain America in the finale of Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. In the film, “After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.
“He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
When previously talking about the film, Kevin Feige said he’s looking to capture the same magic that they delivered in Captain America: The Winter Solider by leaning into the whole political thriller aspect of the story.
The trailers for this film have definitely been leaning into political thriller aspect of the story. This movie has not gotten the best reviews from test audiences, and it’s gone through a lot of reshoots, but I’m still hoping that it surprises me.
Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson.
The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
Captain America: Brave New World opens in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
