New Trailer for DEADLY CLASS Introduces Chester "F--kface" Wilson and There's a New Featurette
We’ve got a kickass new trailer for you to watch today for Joe and Anthony Russo’s upcoming Syfy Channel series Deadly Class, which is based on the Image Comics property created by Rick Remender and Wes Craig.
The new trailer offers up a ton of cool, action-packed new footage and also introduces us to the villainous character Chester "Fuckface" Wilson, who is played by Tom Stevens (Wayward Pines ). Wilson likes to torture his roommate Marcus Arguello. In the comics, Wilson ended up being badly burned in an explosion during Marcus's escape from the school.
I also included a behind-the-scenes featurette for the series that includes the cast and crew talking about what we can expect to see from the series. That includes the Russo Brothers. I’m really excited about this show and its future! I already watched the pilot episode and loved it, so I’m sold.
This is the synopsis that was released for Deadly Class:
Set in a dark, heightened world against the backdrop of late ‘80s counterculture, Deadly Class follows the story of Marcus (Benjamin Wadsworth), a teen living on the streets who is recruited into Kings Dominion, an elite private academy where the world’s top crime families send their next generations. Maintaining his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques and his own adolescent uncertainties soon proves to be vital. Based on the best-selling 2014 Image Comics graphic novel by Rick Remender and Wes Craig, Deadly Class is a coming-of-age journey full of ancient mystery and teen angst.
The series stars Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange), Benjamin Wadsworth (Teen Wolf), Lana Condor (X-Men: Apocalypse, Alita: Battle Angel), Maria Gabriela de Faria (Yo Soy Franky, Sitiados), Luke Tennie (Shock and Awe), Liam James (The Way Way Back, The Killing), and Michel Duval (Señora Acero, Queen of the South).
The series is set to premiere on January 16th.
