New Trailer For GOOD BOYS, The Vulgar Tween Comedy From Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg

We’ve got a new trailer to share with you for Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s latest comedy Good Boys. The film is going to be another one of those vulgar comedies that they like to make, except this one deals with three young tween boys about to enter middle school.

The movie stars Jacob Tremblay (Room) who is on a mission to learn how to kiss before they attend a party that they were invited too. Their journey ends up spiraling into “an odyssey of epically bad decisions.” For the most part I’ve enjoyed the films that Rogen and Goldberg have produced, if you do as well, then this is a movie that you might enjoy watching.

The movie did screen at SXSW and apparently audiences loved it. Here’s the movie’s synopsis:

Just how bad can one day get? The creative minds behind Superbad, Pineapple Express and Sausage Party take on sixth grade hard in the outrageous comedy, Good Boys.

After being invited to his first kissing party, 12-year-old Max (Room’s Jacob Tremblay) is panicking because he doesn’t know how to kiss. Eager for some pointers, Max and his best friends Thor (Brady Noon) and Lucas (Keith L. Williams) decide to use Max’s dad’s drone – which Max is forbidden to touch – to spy (they think) on a teenage couple making out next door.

But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max’s dad (Will Forte, The Last Man on Earth) gets home, the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls (Life of the Party‘s Molly Gordon and Ocean’s Eight‘s Midori Francis).

The movie was directed by Gene Stupnitsky (The Office), who co-wrote the film with Lee Eisenberg (The Office, Bad Teacher). It also stars Brady Noon (Boardwalk Empire) and Keith L. Williams (The Last Man on Earth) and Will Forte.

Good Boys hits theaters on August 16th, 2019.
