New Trailer For HBO's WATCHMEN Teases The Twists and Turns That Lay Ahead
The first episode of HBO’s Watchmen series premiered last night and it was great! I loved what writer and creator Damon Lindelof has done with this show and the story that he’s set up, which is set years after the events of the graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
This is just the beginning of what looks like will be an incredible show and we have a new trailer to share with you that shows us what we can expect in the upcoming episodes and it teases some twists and turns that will be coming. Obviously, if you haven’t watched the first episode yet, you probably don’t want to watch this until after you have.
The story for the series is set in an alternate history where masked vigilantes are treated as outlaws. It embraces the nostalgia of the original graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own. This show seriously does a great job of doing that. The first episode completely hooked me and I’m excited for the ride it’s going to take us on!
The cast includes Regina King, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk.
