New Trailer for HOCUS POCUS 2 Dives Into the Sanderson Sisters' Past, and New Story Details

A new trailer was released today at D23 for the highly anticipated sequel, Hocus Pocus 2, and it dives into the origin story of the Sanderson sisters (Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy). We also get a look at some of the other new and returning cast members, and get a hint at the story the sequel is telling.

The film is welcoming back our favorite Salem witches, as well as Doug Jones, returning to the role of Billy Butcherson, and newcomers to the story - Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt), Froylan Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), and Tony Hale (Veep).

The sequel follows three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back to modern-day Salem and who must team up to stop the witches and save their town.
