New Trailer For Hulu's PAM & TOMMY Series Which Tells The Crazy Sex Tape Scandal Story

Hulu has released the full trailer for its wild upcoming series Pam & Tommy, which tells the crazy true story of the sex tape scandal involving Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. The film offers a dramatized behind-the-scenes look at how this whole thing played out and everyone that was involved with it.

The series stars Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as Lee, and the story follows the “tumultuous relationship between the Motley Crüe drummer/co-founder and former Baywatch star/model, including the notorious incident in which their honeymoon sex tape was stolen and subsequently leaked to the public. Though it will be included, the story will not focus on the scandal but rather explore their relationship going back to their marriage after only 96 hours of knowing each other.”

The series also stars Seth Rogen in the role of Rand Gauthier, the man who stole and sold the tape. Nick Offerman takes on the role of “legendary prolific porn impresario” Uncle Miltie. Described as “big and burly,” Uncle Miltie “brings his larger-than-life stature into the workplace to keep things lively and real.” As “the money guy,” Uncle Miltie helps “disgruntled electrician” Rand (Rogen) distribute the sex tape. “A borderline sociopath,” Offerman’s character “treads along a line between humorous and horrific.”

The series was directed and produced by Craig Gillespie (I,Tonya), and it also stars Taylor Schilling as Erica Gauthier, Pepi Sonuga as Melanie, Andrew Dice Clay as Butchie, Spenser Granese as Steve Fasanella, Mozhan Marnò as Gail Chwatsky, Fred Hechinger as Seth Warshavsky, and Mike Seely as Hugh Hefner.

Executive producer Robert Siegel said in a statement, “I hope the whole world watches it, I’m incredibly proud of it. It’s fun, and it also makes you think, which my favorite art always does. If some people just take it on a level of this is a really crazy fun, nostalgic ’90s crime story, great. If it sparks debate about issues of privacy and celebrity and e-commerce or anything else it sparks, great. I just mostly want people to really enjoy it.”

Executive producer DV DeVincentis added, “I want people to have a really, really good time. And when they turn it off, I hope that it makes them look around at the way we deal with celebrity and the way we deal with privacy and the way we deal with what we expect of celebrities in a different way.”

The series is set to premiere its first three episodes on Hulu on Wednesday, February 2nd.
