New Trailer for Mélanie Laurent's Sci-Fi Thriller OXYGEN - "No Escape, No Memory, 90 Minutes to Live"
Netflix has released a thrilling trailer for director Alexandre Aja’s (Crawl) sci-fi thriller Oxygen. The movie stars Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds) as a woman who wakes up in a cryogenic unit with no memory. “Quickly running out of oxygen, she must find a way to remember who she is in order to survive.”
The movie looks super intense, and the main character finds herself in quite a messed up and terrifying situation. Hopefully, the story has a happy ending. When previously talking about the film, the filmmaker said:
“I remember reading Christie LeBlanc’s script when it appeared on the Black List and feeling like it captured such an intense experience of survival so well. It got me thinking of the best of Buried, but with a 28 Days Later twist. I was in it all the way, I pictured myself waking up locked in this cryo unit, trying to figure out who put me there and why, I felt her desperation.”
The cast of the film also includes Mathieu Amalric, Marc Saez, and Malik Zidi. The film will premiere on Netflix on May 12th.
