New Trailer For Netflix's Young Love Series FOREVER Based on Judy Blume Book

Netflix has released a new trailer for their series about first love, Forever, based on the Judy Blume novel of the same name. The series stars Lovie Simone as Keisha Clark, and Michael Cooper Jr. as Justin Edwards; with Karen Pittman, Wood Harris, Xosha Roquemore, Niles Fitch, Marvin Winans III, Barry Shabaka Henley, Ali Gallo, Adriyan Rae, Paigion Walker, E'myri Crutchfield, Xavier Mills, and Yusef Thomas.

The show is created and showrun by Mara Brock Akil, with writing credits by Terrance Daye, Erika Harrison, Jerron Horton, Danya Hu, Autumn Joy Jimerson, Kimberly Ndombe, Norman Vance Jr. Episodes were directed by Regina King, Reina King, Thembi Banks, and Anthony Hemingway.

The synopsis reads:

Judy Blume's groundbreaking 1975 novel, Forever, is being reimagined for a new generation by Mara Brock Akil. It’s an epic love story of two Black teens exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts, set in Los Angeles.
