New Trailer For Rebecca Hall's Scary Horror Film THE NIGHT HOUSE
Searchlight Pictures has released another trailer for Rebecca Hall’s upcoming horror film The Night House, which comes from director David Bruckner (The Signal, The Ritual). The story centers on a widow who attempts to uncover her recently deceased husband's disturbing secrets in their lakeside home, and then something menacing begins to haunt her.
I already had the opportunity to see the movie at the Sundance Film Festival a couple of years ago and I loved it! It actually offered up some creepy scares. The story also takes some interesting and unexpected twists and turns.
In the film, “Reeling from the unexpected death of her husband, Beth (Hall) is left alone in the lakeside home he built for her. She tries as best she can to keep it together – but then nightmares come. Disturbing visions of a presence in the house calling to her, beckoning her with a ghostly allure. Against the advice of her friends, she begins digging into her husband's belongings, yearning for answers. What she finds are secrets both strange and disturbing – a mystery she's determined to unravel.”
The movie also stars Sarah Goldberg, Vondie Curtis Hall, Evan Jonigkeit, and Stacy Martin. Searchlight will debut the film in theaters on August 20th
