New Trailer For RESIDENT EVIL 4 Looks Incredible
Yoshiaki Hirabayashi debuted the first long look at the highly anticipated Resident Evil 4 at the recent Resident Evil Showcase. The trailer looks incredible and showcases the beautiful new graphics as we see Leon fight for his life against the new ways the Ganados attack, chase, and outflank him. Fortunately, Leon has some new tricks up his sleeve with new combat maneuvers including the ability to parry enemy attacks and deliver finishing blows with his knife.
We also got a first look at recreating fan favorite characters and game mechanics with an emphasis on more meaningful player choice. The Merchant returns to sell Leon handy items and weapon upgrades while offering more exclusive rewards for any strangers willing to gather rare gems and exchange them for other items. We also got a view of Leon’s trusty attaché case and how in true Resident Evil fashion places an emphasis on meticulous resource management.

Resident Evil 4 is a hugely popular game in the franchise that completely reinvented the games with its new third person, non tank, movement. The remake looks like an incredible homage that keeps everything you love and makes them even better. I played through the remake for Resident Evil 2 and loved it so I have no doubt that this will be an amazing gameplay experience. Check out the trailer below and the entire Resident Evil Showcase and let me know what you think. Do you think Ashely will be less annoying?
