Full Trailer For SAVED BY THE BELL Features the Old Gang Back Together Again
Peacock has released the full trailer for their upcoming Saved by the Bell revival series, and it features the old gang back together again! That includes our first look at Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen returning as Zack and Kelly. They join Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez, who have come back as Jesse and Slater.
It’s kind of fun seeing these characters back together again after all these years, and I think fans of the original series are going to enjoy what this series offers. At the same time, it will bring in a whole new audience. One thing the series definitely doesn’t seem to shy away from is the cheesiness.
Here’s the synopsis:
When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much needed and hilarious dose of reality in this comedy inspired by the classic late ’80s/early ’90s sitcom of the same name.
The legacy cast will be joined by new cast members Dexter Darden, Josie Totah, Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Pena and Belmont Cameli.
The new Saved by the Bell will be executive produced and written by Emmy-winning 30 Rock writer-producer Tracey Wigfield. Peter Engel and Franco Bario also are executive producers.
The series will be available for streaming on Wednesday, November 25th.
