New Trailer For SNOWPIERCER Season 3 - A Brighter Future Awaits Beyond The Train

We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch for the third season of TNT’s Snowpiercer series. It offers fans their best look yet at the upcoming season, which finds a group of people in search of New Eden as areas with warmer climates are starting to show up.

The fantastic series is based on Bong Joon Ho’s 2013 film and Jacques Lob’s 1982 graphic novel of the same name. It also has a fantastic cast that includes Jennifer Connelly,  Daveed Diggs, and Sean Bean. They are also joined by Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness,  Lena Hall, Archie Panjabi, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, Mike O’Malley, Chelsea Harris and Steven Ogg.

The story is set “more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.”

In Season 2, “Mr. Wilford, the creator of Snowpiercer, emerges in season two, ready to take back the train that was stolen from him, creating a new power struggle. This causes a dangerous rift as passengers are divided between their loyalty to the revolutionary Layton and to Mr. Wilford, who has a new train, new technology and a game plan that keeps everyone guessing. While Layton battles Wilford for the soul of Snowpiercer, Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) leads the charge on a shocking new discovery that could change the fate of humanity.”

Then this is the recently released synopsis for Season 3:

At the end of Snowpiercer season two, Layton (Daveed Diggs) and Ruth (Alison Wright), who were banished to Big Alice’s compost car, plotted to take back Snowpiercer. With the help of Javier (Roberto Urbina) and Alexandra (Rowan Blanchard), Layton and Ruth made it back to Snowpiercer and rallied with their supporters. Josie (Katie McGuinness) destroyed the Aquarium car, separating Snowpiercer’s head from the remaining 1,023 cars. Season three picks up with Layton (Diggs) and his inner circle commanding a small 10 car “pirate train” in search of Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) and a possible warm location to restart civilization; while back on Snowpiercer, Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean) is consolidating power, awaiting Layton’s return.

Snowpiercer Season 3 is set to make its debut on January 24th, 2022 on TNT.
