New Trailer for SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE Brings Bruce Springsteen’s Story to the Big Screen

20th Century Studios has released the second trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, a new biopic that dives into the early career of rock legend Bruce Springsteen.

The film just premiered at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival to mostly positive reviews and is set to hit theaters nationwide on October 24, 2025.

Inspired by Warren Zanes’ book of the same name, the story centers on the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 masterpiece Nebraska, recorded alone in his New Jersey bedroom while he was also crafting Born in the USA with the E Street Band.

The movie stars Jeremy Allen White as The Boss, with Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Gaby Hoffman, Marc Maron, and David Krumholtz rounding out the cast. White will be singing the songs in the film, and has said of his performance, “Don’t need to be perfect... I just want it to feel right.”

The film “chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen's 1982 Nebraska album when he was a young musician on the cusp of global superstardom (starring Jeremy Allen White as The Boss), struggling to reconcile the pressures of success with the ghosts of his past.

“Taped on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen's New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life & is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.”

This raw and personal chapter of Springsteen’s career makes for a perfect cinematic exploration of artistry, fame, and the challenges that come from working through mental health and emotions.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere comes from acclaimed filmmaker Scott Cooper, known for Crazy Heart, Black Mass, Hostiles, and most recently The Pale Blue Eye.

Cooper not only directs but also penned the screenplay, adapting Zanes’ book with a focus on capturing the soul of Springsteen’s music. Produced by Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber, the film promises a mix of intimate character study and rock ‘n roll energy.

With Jeremy Allen White stepping into the shoes of The Boss, fans of both cinema and music will want to keep this one on their radar.
