New Trailer for STAR TREK: PICARD Features the USS Enterprise-D

We’ve got a new extended promo spot for Star Trek: Picard for you to watch and enjoy today, and the fans of The Next Generation will be happy to see that it offer a brief glimpse at the USS Enterprise-D, which is the version of Enterprise that was commanded by Jean-Luc Picard throughout his adventures in the series.

This ship was destroyed during the events of the film Star Trek Generations, and replaced with the Sovereign-class Enterprise-E. The trailer also features Picard going to Starfleet headquarters to ask to be reinstated for a single mission.

This series will tell a whole new chapter of Picard’s life as he embarks on a mission to protect a mysterious and powerful young woman named Dahj (Isa Briones), who shares a connection with him. He assembles a small crew for a little galaxy-class or Sovereign-class flagship like the Enterprise and head back into the vastness of space.

The series will also feature the return of Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek: Voyager’s Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Jonathan Frakes as Will Riker from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Brent Spiner as Data. They will be joined by Santiago Cabrera as Cristobal “Chris” Rios, Michelle Hurd as Raffi Musiker, Alison Pill as Dr. Agnes Jurati, Harry Treadaway as Narek, and Evan Evagora as Elnor.

Star Trek: Picard comes to CBS All Access on January 23rd, 2020. We don’t have to wait much longer to be able to watch this series!
