New Trailer For the Horror Thriller UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB Brings The Terror

Another trailer has been released for the the upcoming horror thriller Unfriended: Dark Web, which is kind of a standalone sequel to the 2014 film Unfriended. I initially rolled my eyes at this sequel but the story is does interest me as it unfolds in real time as we witness a group of friends fall deep down the dark deep rabbit hole of the dark web and are terrorized by someone on the other end. On top of that, I've been hearing great things about the movie, and there's quote in the trailer that says it's "The Most Evil Film That BlumHouse Has Ever Made,"  so maybe it will actually be good. I'll give it a shot.

When a 20-something finds a cache of hidden files on his new laptop, he and his friends are unwittingly thrust into the depths of the dark web. They soon discover someone has been watching their every move and will go to the unimaginable lengths to protect the dark web.

The movie was written and directed by Stephen Susco (The Grudge) and it's produced by Timur Bekmambetov and Jason Blum. The film stars Betty Gabriel, Andrew Lees, Colin Woodell, and Connor Del Rio.

Unfriended: Dark Web will be released in theaters on July 20th, 2018.
