New Trailer for the Irish Horror Thriller THE HALLOW

For those of you who are looking for a solid, scary horror film, I strongly suggest you check out The Hallow. I saw this movie at Sundance earlier this year, and I freakin’ loved it. The story revolves around a horde of violent mythical creatures that dwell in the woods of Ireland. These creatures terrorize a family who moves into a house on the edge of the forest in which they reside.

I enjoyed the hell out this movie because it was so damn creepy, and the dark tone and visuals in it were fantastic. I love a good creepy horror flick. If you do too, then this is a movie you can’t miss.

Deep within the darkness of secluded forest land in rural Ireland dwells an ancient evil. Feared by the nearby superstitious villagers as cursed creatures who prey upon the lost, their secrets have been kept from civilization and remain on their hallowed ground. But when a conservationist from London moves in with his wife and infant child in order to survey the land for future construction, his actions unwittingly disturb the horde of demonic forces. Alone in a remote wilderness, he must now ensure his family’s survival from their relentless attacks.

The Hallow marks the feature film debut of Corin Hardy, who has made several shorts and music videos. It will be released in theaters on November 13th.
