New Trailer for the Kurt Warner Sports Drama AMERICAN UNDERDOG with Zachary Levi
Lionsgate has released a new trailer for the wonderful-looking inspirational sports drama American Underdog. The movie stars Zachary Levi in the role of football star Kurt Warner, and the film tells the true story of the road he took to become an NFL champion.
I enjoy a good inspirational sports movie, and this looks like it’s going to be great one that that audiences will enjoy. Kurt Warner has one hell of a fascinating story and it’s pretty crazy how things played out for him as a quarter back in the NFL.
Kurt Warner went from a stockboy at a grocery store to a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. The film centers on “Warner’s unique story and years of challenges and setbacks that could have derailed his aspirations to become an NFL player – but just when his dreams seemed all but out of reach, it is only with the support of his wife, Brenda and the encouragement of his family, coaches, and teammates that Warner perseveres and finds the strength to show the world the champion that he already is. American Underdog is an uplifting story that demonstrates that anything is possible when you have faith, family and determination.”
The movie was directed by Andrew Erwin and Jon Erwin, and it also stars Anna Paquin, Dennis Quaid, Adam Baldwin, Bruce McGill, and more. It will be released in theater on December 25th, Christmas Day.
