Focus Features has released a new trailer for director Robert Eggers’ highly-anticipated Viking revenge film The Northman, and it shows no mercy! The trailer offers a stunning look at the brutal epic and it shows off the intensity of the story. Good lord, this movie is going to be incredible, and I can’t wait to see it!

The trailer also includes review quotes from critics who loved the movie. This film has been getting great reviews saying “A visually stunning experience,” “An absolute beast of a movie,” “A stone-cold masterpiece,” and more. Bring it on!

The Northman is set at the turn of the 10th century in Iceland, and the story explores how far a Viking prince will go to get revenge for his murdered father. The cast includes Alexander Skarsgård, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Björk, Willem Dafoe, and Ralph Ineson.
