New Trailer For TOUKEN RANBU WARRIORS Shows Off Music By Akiko Shikata

Touken Ranbu Warriors is set to have three songs by renowned singer/songwriter Akiko Shikata including the opening theme, “Color Barrage”, which you can listen to a sample of in the new trailer. She will also contribute two ending songs featuring her versatile vocals entitled “Honor” and “Time”.  Shikata has composed music across a wide variety of games and anime including Ar Tonelico, Surge Concerto, and Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-. 

This new 1 vs 1000 game features famous swords that take the form of warriors named Touken Danshi (swordsmen), and these elite fighters are sworn to protect history from an onslaught of evildoers. It was also announced that Omokage will be appearing in the game.

Omokage, voiced by Takuma Terashima, will be playable in Touken Ranbu Warriors. Omokage is a mysterious fighter who wields an otachi (great sword). The warrior is calm and collected despite his fragile appearance, and will be a key figure in the storyline alongside Mikazuki Munechika and the other Touken Danshi.

Touken Ranbu Warriors will be releasing in North America on May 24, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
