New Trailer For Will Smith and Tom Holland's Animated Spy Comedy SPIES IN DISGUISE
Will Smith, Tom Holland, and Karen Gillan have teamed up for a silly and fun animated action spy comedy called Spies in Disguise. The new trailer offers up plenty of new footage and additional story details.
Smith takes on the role of Lance Sterling, a smooth and charming super-skilled spy. He has a partner who is a young scientific genius that creates the spy gadgets that Lance uses on his missions, one of those gadgets ends up turning Lance into a pigeon and that’s where this story take a weird and amusing turn.
Here’s the synopsis:
Charming, super cool, super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is… not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can't learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril. Spies In Disguise is an animated comedy set in the high-octane globe-trotting world of international espionage.
The movie was directed by Nick Bruno (Epic, The Peanuts Movie) and Troy Quane (Ice Age: Collision Course). The project is based on an animated short called Pigeon: Impossible by Lucas Martell.
Spies in Disguise will open in theaters on December 25, 2019.
