New Trailer For WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY - Winnie the Pooh and Piglet Go Bloody Wild
A brutal new trailer has been released for the demented upcoming R-rated Winnie The Pooh slasher horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. This twisted new take on the classic beloved childhood characters created by A.A. Milne sees Winnie the Pooh and Piglet embark on a violent killing rampage after being abandoned by Christopher Robin. The new trailer is short, but it’s packed with savage and intense horror energy.
The movie comes from director Rhys Frake-Waterfield, and it seems like there are a good amount of people excited about watching the film. But, it’s definitely not for everyone.
Here’s the synopsis:
“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey will see Pooh and Piglet as the main villains…going on a rampage after being abandoned by a college-bound Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin is pulled away from them, and he’s not [given] them food, it’s made Pooh and Piglet’s life quite difficult.
“Because they’ve had to fend for themselves so much, they’ve essentially become feral. So they’ve gone back to their animal roots. They’re no longer tame: they’re like a vicious bear and pig who want to go around and try and find prey.”
The movie was shot in England, not far from Ashdown Forest, which is the inspiration for Milne’s imaginary Hundred Acre Wood in the Winnie the Pooh stories.
The movie stars Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott. Watch the new trailer below and let us know if you’ll be watching the movie. It will be released on February 15, 2023,
