New Trailer for YELLOWSTONE Season 5 Part 2 Continues To Include Kevin Costner's John Dutton
The Paramount Network has released a new trailer forYellowstone Season 5 Part 2, and even though we know Kevin Costner will not be returning for the final episodes of the season, John Dutton looms large in the trailer, and it’s like the marketing team doesn’t want you to know that Costner won’t be back.
I’m guessing they had already shot some scenes with Costner long before all the drama that led him to leaving the series, so he may show up in at least one episode before he disappears from the show.
The trailer offers some additional insight into the story and teases how things are going to play out over the course of these final episodes, and it's looking pretty intense. The tagline reads: "Generations of blood have led to this.”
The footage teases the story arcs for Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley), and more.
Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.
This may not be the last we see of some of these characters as there’s another spinoff series in development that will continue the story of Beth and Rip. I hope that series actually happens.
The six-episode second half is set to debut on November 10, 2024.
