New Trailer for THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS Shows This Is the Most Over-the-Top Film in the Franchise Yet
Damn! The Fate of the Furious looks like it's going to be the most ridiculously over-the-top film in the Fast and Furious franchise yet! The latest trailer that Universal Pictures has released is packed full of high-octane action-packed footage and also offers more details on Charlize Theron's villainous plans, like the fact that she has the technology to control every car in the city! We still don't know why Vin Diesel's Dom has gone rouge, but it doesn't seem like he really has a choice. This is gonna be a fun movie to watch.
From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world’s stage…and to bring home the man who made them a family.
The cast for the film also includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Helen Mirren.
The Fate of the Furious is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton). It opens in theaters April 14, 2017.
