New Trailers for THE PATH Season 2, HOMELAND Season 6, and BILLIONS Season 2
We've got a few new trailers for some upcoming new seasons of some great TV shows that are coming back for their new seasons. The first is Hulu's second season of The Path, the second is for the sixth season of Showtime's Homeland, and the third is for the second season of Showtime's Billions. If you haven't been watching any of these series, you should give them a shot!
The first season of this show was intense and powerful, and the upcoming season looks pretty damn crazy. The series stars Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. Season 2 premieres on January 25th on Hulu and here's the synopsis:
The Path follows a family at the center of a controversial cult movement as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The series blends elements of mystery-thriller, romance and the supernatural.
This is one of the best dramas on TV, and if you haven't been watching, you've been missing out one some compelling storytelling. Homeland stars Claire Danes, Rupert Friend, and Mandy Patinkin, and it's set to be released on January 15th.
Taking place several months after the previous season, Carrie Mathison is back in the United States, living in Brooklyn, New York. She is now working at a foundation whose efforts are to provide aid to Muslims living in the United States.
Billions is a fascinating story filled with extremely interesting characters, and it's a must watch series. I absolutely loved Season 1. The series stars Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti, and Season 2 premieres on February 19th on Showtime.
Season 2 picks up immediately after the season one finale, as hard-charging U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) squares off against billionaire hedge fund king Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Lewis), scorching the earth in a costly war for personal domination. It's law versus money, with power, sex, and the soul of New York in the balance. Maggie Siff stars as Wendy Rhoades, Chuck's estranged wife and the top performance coach in the hedge fund world. Malin Akerman plays Lara Axelrod, Axe's fiercely loyal and street-smart wife. Season two finds the characters vying for control in a changing world that presents an existential threat. For all of them, it's a choice between evolution and extinction.
