New TV Spot For DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Confirms the Illuminati
Marvel has released a new TV spot for Sam Raimi’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and it not only features some cool new footage, but it also confirms the involvement of The Illuminati. Fans have been speculating that the group would make an appearance since their involvement was teased in the first trailer.
At the end of the new spot, Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Karl Mordo can be heard saying, "Steven Strange, the Illuminati will see you now." The Illuminati are a secret team of the most influential heroes in the universe. Their role is to make decisions that impact the fate of humanity from the shadows.
In the comics, the group includes characters such as Black Bolt, Professor X/Charles Xavier, Reed Richards, Namor the Sub-Mariner, and Iron Man. The only character that fans are aware of right now from that line-up that will most likely be involved is Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. Doctor Strange is also among the group of heroes.
There are a lot of different directions that Marvel could go with who is in The Illuminati group in the MCU. We’re just gonna have to wait and see! I just can’t wait to see what this movie has in store for us!
