New TV Spot For Edgar Wright's BABY DRIVER is Brilliant

It turns out I need to retract a statement I made earlier. I know I said the one movie I was most excited about was Valerian and the city of planet something something, but I just watched this new TV Spot for Baby Driver and remembered, "Oh yeah, this is coming out. This is what I want more than anything!".

The new spot is exciting and has a touch of Mozart in it with the catchphrase Mozart in a Go Kart said by Kevin Spacey. I loved the other trailer, but this feels so much more Edgar Wright. The quick cuts, the sarcastic dialogue, and the music that fits like it was just poured into the spot. I just watched it twice in a row just to really absorb all of the funny and brilliant things in it.

The action looks great, the shots look great, the actors all seem like they're having fun. Wright is by far my favorite Director. I love his work because he knows how to paint a story and enhance it with music and visuals. I know that's what all directors do, but Wright just does it in a way that makes me smile every time. Check out the spot. Then check it out again. It's that good.

The movie stars Ansel Elgort, Lily James, Jamie Foxx, Elsa Gonzalez, Lily James, Jon Bernthal and Kevin Spacey. Here's the synopsis:

A talented, young getaway driver (Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Baby Driver hits theaters on June 28th
