New TV Spot for THE BATMAN Offers Up Some More New Footage

The NBA All-Star game took place this past weekend, and it released a cool little spot for The Batman in which the announcer saw the Bat-signal above the venue and pointed out that he saw Batman standing atop the roof. The video teases the havoc Batman’s nemeses are unleashing on the city and the vengeance that is boiling below the surface of Bruce Wayne.

In the film, Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) is deep in the shadows of Gotham City after two years stalking the streets as Batman. As an outcast in a corrupt city of officials and high-profile figures, he is the sole embodiment of vengeance among his fellow citizens, with the help of just a few trusted allies – Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright).

In the wake of a string of sadistic murders targeting Gotham’s elite, the World’s Greatest Detective goes on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). After the evidence becomes clearer and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans become apparent, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

The Batman is set to open in theaters March 4th, 2022. Check out the clip below.
