New TV Spot for THE MARVELS Teases an Asgardian Character Joining the Party

A new TV spot has dropped for The Marvels, and at the end, it teases an unexpected appearance from an Asgardian character. It seems like there’s a point in the film where Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris’s Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan find themselves in over their heads, and near the end of the spot, Carol Danvers says she “called a friend” for help. We then see the Bifrost open but we don’t know who comes through. My guess is that it’s Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, but we’ll see.

In The Marvels, “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”

The film also stars Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary LewisSeo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. JacksonNia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer.

The Marvels is set to be released on November 10th.
