New Upbeat CAPTAIN MARVEL TV Spot Highlights More of the Humorous Aspects of the Film

Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for Captain Marvel and it’s packed full of new footage from the film. That includes a shot of Carol Danvers amusingly screaming back at a Skrull before she beats him up. This is an upbeat promo that highlights more of the humorous aspects of the film and it looks like fun! Check it out!

The film is set in 1995 and follows Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot whose DNA is fused with that of an alien during an accident. The resulting alteration imbues her with the superpowers of strength, energy projection, and flight. The Skrulls will also play a major part of the story as they will be invading Earth, and Captain Marvel will either have to fight them or help them.

Captain Marvel is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind). The most recent script comes from Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider). The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn as the leader of The Skrulls and Jude Law as a mysterious member of the Kree team, Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury. Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Coulson, and Lee Pace and Djimon Hounsou will be back as the Kree villain Ronan the Accuser and his henchman Korath the Pursuer.

The movie is set to be released on March 8th, 2019.
