New US Trailer For China-Made Tom & Jerry Animated Adventure Film TOM & JERRY: FORBIDDEN COMPASS

The US trailer has been released for the China-made Tom & Jerry animated adventure film Tom & Jerry: Forbidden Compass.

The film was released in China last summer, then made its way through the rest of the world before coming here to the US for a September 2026 release.

The movie is written and directed by Chinese animation filmmaker Gang Zhang in his feature directorial debut.

The synopsis reads: “During a chase in a museum, Tom & Jerry accidentally activate a magical compass that transports them to another world.

“On their journey home, they meet a group of new companions and become embroiled in a conflict against mysterious forces in this playful adventure packed with chaos and discovery.”

This looks pretty cute, like something a fan of Tom and Jerry, or wacky animated films in general would enjoy. Check out the trailer below, and watch Tom & Jerry: Forbidden Compass in theatres on September 9th.
