New WALKING DEAD Spinoff Series Will Focus on Rick and Michonne!
Not long after Andrew Lincoln left The Walking Dead series, it was announced at Comic-Con that Rick’s story would continue with a series of films. Well, unfortunately, those films never happened and at this point, it doesn’t look like they ever will. But, there is some good news for all of you Rick and Michonne fans!
It was announced at Comic-Con today that there’s a new Walking Dead spinoff series in development that will focus Rick and Michonne and Lincoln and Danai Gurira are set to reprise their roles! This is exciting because they are actually my favorite characters in the series!
Lincoln and Gurira came out on stage to make the big announcement that the series will be coming to AMC+ and it will; consist of six episodes. It will close out the story of Rick and Michonne. They didn’t reveal any other information, but the fans at Comic-Con flipped out over the announcement!
Once Rick left The Walking Dead, it was hard to keep watching the show, it just wasn’t as good as it was. So I’m super happy to see that we will finally get to continue the story of Rick and Michonne continue and get a proper conclusion I’m excited to see what this story entails and how it plays out! I haven’t been this excited about the Walking Dead franchise in a long time!
