New WONDER MAN Rumor Claims to Reveal One Actor Who Will Be Playing Himself in the Series
We are just a couple months out now from the premiere of the upcoming Marvel series Wonder Man. The trailer looks great, and the show looks like it’s going to take a playful look at the Hollywood film industry, complete with cameos from real life actors playing versions of themselves, similar to the structure of The Studio.
Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH has revealed the identity of at least one of those set to appear in Wonder Man.
According to the insider, we can expect to see Frozen star Josh Gad playing a version of himself in the Marvel Television series, which is coming to Disney+ next year.
We don't have any additional details to share, but it's not outside the realm of possibility that he will be among those starring in the in-universe Wonder Man reboot.
Gad's name was first linked to Wonder Man in early 2023. At the time, there was no word on who the Book of Mormon and Beauty and the Beast star might be playing, but seeing the actor presumably parody himself should be a lot of fun.
We can likely expect more fans of the MCU to join this franchise as themselves, and it’s cool that some of them are presumably being kept under wraps.
Wonder Man is set to kick off on Disney+ on January 27, 2026.
