New WONDER WOMAN 1984 Photo Features Diana Prince Man-Handling Some Goons
We’ve got a new photo from DC’s Wonder Woman 1984 to share with you today. It gives us a new look at Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince all decked out in her costume man-handling a couple of goons. Wonder Woman is a hero that you obviously don’t want to cross because she’ll kick your ass.
The image comes from Total Film and while talking to the outlet, director Patty Jenkins said that the sequel was "a much harder movie to shoot… I was more ambitious with it. So doing all the stunts for real on wires and things, it’s extremely complicated and time-consuming. And everybody involved knows that you could say, 'Oh, forget it, we’ll just do it in CG.' So it was difficult in a new way [compared to the first film]."
When talking about the film’s 80s setting, she added, "We weren’t trying to make a mimicry [of the ’80s]. We were trying to make a movie as if it was a grounded movie in the ’80s."
The movie also stars Chris Pine returning as Steve Trevor, Pedro Pascal as Maxwell Lord, and Kristin Wiig as Barbara Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on June 5th, 2020. If you want to watch the trailer for the film again, click here. I’m actually looking forward to this sequel. I enjoyed the first film and I hope this sequel ups the ante.
