New WONDER WOMAN Plot Details Surface in Interview
It appears as though Wonder Woman will be assembling a ragtag team of her own during the Great War. Comicbook reports that the photo shown in Batman v Superman is now more relevant thanks to a recent interview with actor Ewen Bremmer. In the interview, Bremmer states that while Wonder Woman will be involved in WWI, it looks like a bulk of the film will feature an ensemble special forces unit led by the heroine...
"I play a character who's enlisted by Wonder Woman to help save the world as part of a small, unlikely band...He's a shell-shocked soldier who's been discharged from the war and is brought back to help on a secret mission."
Obviously, this means that WW and crew will set off on a mission to directly confront Ares and turn the tide of the war. While we knew that Wonder Woman and Ares would come face to face in the upcoming film, it's interesting to hear she's going to have a team of sorts to help her along the way! I think that's a good change of pace that adds the potential for a greater dynamic and more opportunities to grow Diana's character as the story progresses. Can anyone really say they're upset by the fact that Wonder Woman may not be tackling this problem solo?
